The number of deaths from coronavirus reached 9717 deaths, after recording on April 16, 2021, 78 more deaths, according to the Health Ministry.
The health department on Saturday reported 2199 additional cases of the coronavirus, after conducting 7820 tests. The number of people who recovered hit 234012.
According to the Ministry of Health, public and private hospitals are currently treating 2333 people with the coronavirus, 462 people in intensive care units and 140 patients on oxygen
