The budget allocated to the Presidency of the Republic has increased in the finance bill for 2020. However, the budget allocated has increased largely in the last decade with a 30 precent growth estimated at 169.000 Millian TND.
During the term of former president Moncef Marzouki, the budget was set at 71.869 Millian TDN, it rose to by 5 perecnet in 2014 with a budget of 83,142 Million TND.
During the term of Beji Caid Essebsi, the budget grew from 10 peresnt in 2015 21 to 12 perenct in 2017/2018 by rising from 88,156 to 108,513.
The major increased came in President Kais Saied term with a staggering rise from 14 presenct to 30 perecnet in 2020.
