Many cultural and youth activities, as well as “circus”, shows scheduled for next week has been cancelled in Manouba governorate as a precaution against COVID-19.
Manouba governor Mohamed Cheikhrouhou explained that the preventive measures also included the postponement of the summer festival in Manouba, a cultural event on the beach, the cancellation of a producer-to-consumer trade festival in the city of la Manouba, and a demonstration in the sport of “kickboxing” Borj El Amiri.
He stressed that the efforts of the regional committee to fight against the Coronavirus centred on the provisions for implementing the procedures of the health protocol in administrations and public spaces, in particular in shops and spaces open to the public, through committees set up for this purpose in coordination with municipalities, regional directorates, security services and municipal and environmental police
