Democratic current leader Ghazi Chaouachi reported, this Tuesday, November 23, 2021, that six or seven leaders of the Ministry of the Interior are currently subject to a thorough judicial inquiry after the detection of a security cell active in espionage in the said department.
The network, he stated spies on prominent figures in Tunisia, including businessmen, reporters and politicians. Speaking on the airwaves of private radio, Chaouachi, in this sense, specified that according to the first investigations, it turned out that this cell works on behalf of the internal and external parts of the nation, adding that it does have no relationship with the Ministry of the Interior.
