The president of the National Salvation Front, Ahmed Nejib Chebbi, confirmed this morning during a press briefing, that the front decided to boycott the next legislative elections, planned for December 17.
He clarified that the new electoral law is exclusive, and makes the candidacy nearly impossible, in particular, with regard to the sponsorship to acquire.
He added that he can now declare that these elections will not take place because most of the country’s political parties denied the new law and decided to boycott them.
