“Our support for the Palestinians should not be limited to speeches,” announced the President of the Republic Kais Saïed during a working session held yesterday at Carthage Palace to examine aid to be provided to the brotherly people.
The solidarity declared by the highest leader of the state was also shared by Tunisians, who have continued to reaffirm their support for the Palestinian cause via protest movements and dozens of press releases published since last Saturday.
Yesterday evening, the City of Culture was lit up with the colours of Palestine to loudly hail the “Al Aqsa Flood” operation and pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Palestinians.
This occurred at a time when many countries took a stand with the “Israeli occupation”, once again applying a policy of “double standards” in dealing with international news.
