The foreign ministry remembered the 63rd anniversary of the bombing of Sakiet Sidi Youssef, an operation directed by the French army, as part of the Algerian War, on the Tunisian village of Sakiet Sidi Youssef.
Every February 8, Tunisia and Algeria together commemorate this event. An event to recollect the historical relationships between the two brotherly nations that Tunisia intends to honour and consolidate in the interest of the two peoples, according to the ministry’s statement.
