Tunisia-Conditions of entry into Tunisia

The Embassy of France in Tunisia declared today that given the impact of the health crisis on the Tunisian health system for many weeks, travellers going to Tunisia are actively recommended to have completed their vaccination schedule before their departure. According to the same source, only PCR tests are recognized by Tunisian health authorities. Travellers with antigenic tests cannot be secured access to Tunisian territory.

Unvaccinated travellers over 2 years old entering Tunisia must:
  • a negative PCR test  carried out less than 72 hours before the first boarding
  • submit to compulsory quarantine for ten days from their arrival in Tunisia, at their expense, in one of the confinement centres set by the Tunisian authorities and present proof of reservation and payment upon boarding (“ voucher “)
  • carry out a PCR test between the 7th and the 10th day of compulsory confinement, at their cost (indicative price: 209 Tunisian dinars, or approximately 70 euros).
  • If the result of the PCR test is negative, travellers can be released from containment while pledging to comply with preventive health measures – undertake to accept a potential rapid antigenic test on arrival in Tunisia
  • complete the obligatory information requested on this site before boarding (https://app.e7mi.tn/travelers/add) then print and sign the two documents generated by the application: the health form and the entry form which will be provided to the Tunisian health services on arrival. It is recommended to indicate a Tunisian telephone number (for example that of the person who accommodates you or of the hotel) to validate the production of these documents.
passengers over 12 who have finished their vaccination process, unaccompanied minors (under 18), minors accompanying people vaccinated, diplomats living in Tunisia and members of their families residing in Tunisia (on presentation of their resident card or a verbal note from their embassy or organization)
  • must present the vaccination certificate issued by the authorities of their country of residence
  • must present a negative PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before the first boarding;
  •  exempt from compulsory confinement on arrival but must perform a ten-day self-isolation in their place of residence in Tunisia (home, hotel)
  •  must finish before boarding the obligatory information requested on this site (https://app.e7mi.tn/travelers/add) then print and sign the two documents generated by the application: the health form and the health form commitment which will be given to the Tunisian health services on arrival. It is recommended to indicate a Tunisian telephone number (for example that of the person who accommodates you or of the hotel) to validate the production of these documents
