At the conclusion of the meeting of the regional committee for the fight against disasters, the governor of Manouba, Mohamed Cheikh Rouhou yesterday sounded the alarm due to the decay of the epidemiological situation in the region.
He additionally called on local authorities to build a field hospital within 24 hours. The governor evoked that the epidemiological situation in the region is critical and demands more vigilance, emphasising the necessity to respect the health protocol and the preventive measures set in place.
He, accordingly, called on all parties to support the efforts of health professionals in the region in oreder to provide the largest number of oxygen concentrators, intensify vaccination campaigns in the field and secure compliance with the health protocol.
