During a meeting held on Thursday, September 19, the Regional Committee for Disaster Response in Sfax decided to halt classes in all educational establishments (primary schools, middle schools, high schools, and vocational training centres) for the remainder of the day.
According to an official press release, the decision was made in reaction to the current weather conditions. The National Institute of Meteorology (INM) has forecast scattered and stormy rains in several governorates this afternoon.
