The Criminal Division of the Tunis Court of First Instance, which specializes in financial corruption cases, decided on Monday, June 9, 2025, to postpone the trial of television producer Sami Fehri and the general manager of a public institution until July 10.
The court decided to postpone the trial following a request from the defendants’ defense team, which requested a postponement pending the Court of Cassation’s decision on the appeal against the Indictment Division’s decision.
The case concerns suspicions of financial and administrative corruption in previous transactions between the television production company Cactus and a public institution under the regime of former President Ben Ali.
