Eight more COVID-19 fatalities were reported on March 5, taking the death toll to 27,943, the Health Ministry said.
Another 637 infections were reported from 4,118 tests (15.47% positivity rate), taking the caseload to 1,005,804 infections.
Recoveries rose by 6,140 to 972,671.
