Customs at Dehiba Wazen border crossing points (Tataouine governorate) have succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle 4.9429 narcotic tablets hidden in an automobile with a foreign license plate.
Preliminary data available shows that these are ecstasy pills. A report has been drawn up to this effect. After consultation with the prosecution, the police were permitted to take the necessary measures against the suspects.
