The Counterterrorism Units of the General Directorate of National Security were capable to identify a terrorist cell made up of 20 Takfirist elements in the governorate of Jendouba.
The activity of the aforementioned cell concentrated on the surveillance of some important institutions in the region and the stationing of security units. After an additional probe of the suspects, it was found that they gathered in groups daily after some of them had served penitentiary terms for their involvement in terrorist cases.
After consulting the public prosecutor, he ordered legal measures to be carried against them and for the search to continue.
