A bewildering and inhuman scene toured the web in Tunisia: on the Island of Djerba, more than twenty dogs were massacred this Wednesday, July 22, 2020, placed in a refuge on the island.
Everything suggests, according to the account of the owner of the refuge, Tiziana Gmannossi, that individuals entered the premises to commit their barbaric act.
Worse still: the refuge was vandalized; “They killed all the dogs !” They destroyed everything these criminals! She said indignantly.
It is clear that a serious investigation must be opened into this killing and that the perpetrators be punished in an exemplary manner.
