Approximately 248 Tunisians repatriated from Saudi Arabia on May 18 completed their obligatory isolation period on Sunday in a centre in Djerba and left the island, the TAP reports.
Five persons among this group have continued in mandatory isolation, while pending the outcomes of their tests, indicated deputy director of primary health in Médenine Ziad Al Anz in a statement to the TAP.
Seven cases of infection with COVID-19 have been recorded among the members of this group who arrived in Tunisia on the same flight.
They are from Gabès, Sousse, Sidi Bouzid and Tunis. They were taken to the national isolation centre for persons infected with COVID-19 in Monastir.
