Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, the president of the Regional Union of Agriculture and Fisheries in Beja, Chokri Dejbi said that the amounts of rainfall that fell yesterday in Beja were of low intensity. He specified that the amounts of rain were rather limited in most delegations except in Beja North and in particular areas of Beja South, emphasising that no damage was registered because of these rains.
Most agricultural crops including roughage were grown and were not impacted by the rains, he said. Concerning the rehabilitation of rural roads, our speaker affirmed the progress of work on this subject. He assessed that the harvest season of barley harvest should begin this week while that of wheat will start on June 1 and 2, 2022.
