Tunisia-Election overall turnout reaches 45.% at home and 19.7% abroad

The overall voter turnout in the early presidential election reached 45.% after polling stations closed its door at 18:00 on Sunday, September 15, said President of the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) Nabil Baffoun.
Voting turnout percentage details at home and abroad are as following:

The highest voter turnout was recorded in Kebili with 58.89% and the lowest Beja 22.82%.

  • Nabeul 2: 51.95 %
  • Zaghouan: 44.61 %
  • Kairouan: 34.22%
  • Kasserine: 33 %
    Sidi Bouzid: 48.18 %
  • Gafsa: 35.45 %
  • Tozeur: 47.71 %
  • Before me: 58.89 %
  • Sousse: 51.88 %
  • Mahdia: 38.28 %
  • Monastir: 40 %
  • Sfax 1: 49.41%
  • Sfax 2: 47.45 %
  • Gabès: 39.56 %

For electoral constituencies abroad, the overall turnout was 19.7%.
