Caretaker prime minister Elyes Fakhfakh commented on Hichem Mechichi choice to form a technocratic government saying that it won’t be enough, considering that the operation needs consensus.
Speaking on the sidelines after meeting House Speaker Rached Ghannouchi, he stressed that the parliament is composed of Parties and the process cannot proceed without consensus.
“I advised him to find A consensus formula , Why can’t it be a technocratic government but gathers the most maximum consent around it from institutions in some form”, he added.
