Ennahda seems to have finally submitted to elect someone outside of its ranks to head the government, the party opted to name Tunisian ambassador to Belgium and the European Union Ridha Ben Mosbah for the post. Ben Mosbah background might secure approval from various political parties and national organizations.
Previously, the Islamic party decided to nominate Rached Ghannouchi as speaker of the parliament.
