Tunisia-Ennahda worries about government coalition break down

Ennahda executive bureau held its annual meeting under the chairmanship of Rached Ghannouchi to address the latest political updates and the parliamentary situation. In an issued press release the party expressed concern on the delicate economic and social situation which forces all national forces to unite to overcome the crisis as opposed to the prime minister rejection to answer requests to widen the ruling coalition making it more coherent, harmonious and able to face these challenges.

The Islamic party further communicated its worry about disintegration experienced by the government coalition and the absence of needed solidarity as well as the attempt of some allies to target the party on many occasion and aligning with the forces of political extremism to pass suspicious parliamentary options that deviate the parliament form its actual role in serving national issues.

It further affirmed that they are following up investigation regarding the file of conflict of interest, which the party says has harmed the image of the government coalition in general, which in return necessitate a reassessment of the position on the government and its composing coalition. The subject matter will be presented to the Shura council to take the right decision.
