Ennahdha condemned, this Wednesday, May 11, 2022, the assassination of Al Jazeera reporter Sherine Abu Akleh.
In a statement released today,Ennahdha called for an international inquiry into the crime of murder and for the perpetrators to be punished by the International Criminal Court.
It also called Tunisian authorities to reopen the office of Al Jazeera in Tunis, which was shut down last July, and to stop harassing journalists and breaking their legitimate rights.
