Lawyer Abdelaziz Essid confirmed today, on the sidelines of a radio intervention, that political activist Khayem Turki, businessman Kamel Letaïef and the leader of Ennahdha Abdelhamid Jelassi were apprehended within the framework of the same case; conspiracy against state security.
According to preliminary data, Essid stated that this file involves 7 individuals; 5 of them are in custody and the other two individuals are free.
48 hours after the detention of Khayem Turki, the lawyer said that he has not yet managed to speak with his client, which is why the lawyers demonstrated in front of the headquarters of the public prosecutor’s office at the anti-terrorist pole.
