The results of Tunisia’s trade with the outside world at current prices during the two months of 2024 indicate that exports rose by 5.9% compared to +11.6% during the same period in 2023. They attained the level of 10,637.6 MD against 10,044.3 MD during the two months of 2023.
To Arab countries, exports grew with Algeria (+36.7%) and Egypt (+19.1%).
On the other hand, they dropped with Libya (-32.5%) and with Morocco (-9.5%).
Tunisian exports to the European Union (71.6% of total exports) increased by 4.9%.
This development is clarified by the increase in our exports to several European partners, such as Italy (+9.3%), Spain (+44.6%), Belgium (+7.3%) and France (+0.8%). On the other hand, they fell with Germany.
