Speaking on the national TV, Minister of Health Faouzi Mehdi announced that the number of infections by the Coronavirus has doubled in 48 delegations.
According to him, this is due to the negligence to uphold the preventive measures that have been put in place by the authorities.
Mehdi further explained that the pressure exerted on health institutions shows the gravity of the situation in the country, calling on citizens to respect barrier gestures to restrict the spread of the virus.
