Tunisia – Fixing maximum sale price of live chickensupporting

The Ministry of Trade and Export Development has decided to set, through a press release, the maximum price for the sale of live chickens, at the producer level, at 5,300 millimes/kg, beginning tomorrow, Friday, November 1, 2024, in the context of resisting excessive price increases and further supporting the purchasing power of citizens.

In its communication, the ministry called on all stakeholders involved in the supply of these products to guarantee regular supply of the market in sufficient quantities, to respect the legal transport of distribution channels and to deal exclusively with the purchase and sale through regulated channels.

It also recalled that any breach of the provisions of this decision will be pursued and sanctioned following the provisions of the laws and decrees in force
