The Minister of Finance, Sihem Boughediri, declared that the 2022 financial year allows early retirement before the legal age of 62, and this is contrary to the provisions of law n ° 12/1985 of March 5, 1985, linking to the civil and military pensions scheme for retirement and survivors in the public sector.
She specified that the law applies to civil servants aged at least 57 during the period from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024, and who have met the minimum period of work required to acquire the retirement pension (15 years).
