Foreign Minister Othman Jerandi spoke today on the phone with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian to address developments in Tunisia. The French minister called during this meeting for the rapid designation of a prime minister and the creation of a competent government capable of reacting with clear solutions to the aspirations and expectations of Tunisians.
Jean-Yves Le Drian evoked in the same context that France will always be on the side of the Tunisians, especially in terms of health. He insisted on the necessity to preserve stability, the rule of law as well as the proper functioning of Tunisian state institutions.
