France felicitated Tunisia and four other countries, particularly Estonia, Niger, Saint-Vincent-et-les-Grenadines and Vietnam on starting offically their two-year term as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
“France will be pleased to operate jointly with each of these countries on all the issues dealt with by this body, whose main responsibility under the UN Charter is international peace and security,” reads a statement by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
