In a tweet posted today, French Ambassador to Tunisia André Parant paid tribute to Chokri Belaïd who was murdered near his house 10 years ago.
“Ten years ago, Chokri Belaid was cowardly murdered: Tunisia lost one of its freest and most courageous voices.
“I salute his memory. May all light be shed on this heinous crime,” he declared.
