A certain number of temporary teachers organized, this Monday, January 9, 2023, a protest before the headquarters of the regional delegation for education in Gabes to demand a comprehensive settlement of their files.
Boubaker Debaghi, the regional teaching coordinator in Gabes, declared the effective boycott of courses until the Ministry of Education started negotiations with the General Federation of Secondary Education, threatening to enter a series of Protests, reports Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent.
The teachers had boycotted the courses about two weeks ago, in protest against the transfer contract issued by the Ministry of Education recently, which stipulates the exploitation of the temporary teachers as additional workers.
