Speaking to Radio IFM on Wednesday former prime minister-designate Habib Jemli affirmed that the president of the republic Kais Saied had reservations on one of his ministers after he suspected that he belonged to Ennahda party, nevertheless, he didn’t indicate that, and his nomination was approved.
Mr Jemli despite having reservations concerning the identity of the minister involved explained that his portfolio is not subject to agreement between the heads of government and the state, as its the case for the ministers of foreign affairs and defence, rejecting that Tariq Diab is the person concerned.
