Hafedh Caid Essebsi denounced on his Facebook page the improper treatment he received when he in international airport. Essebsi was subjected to a search operation by the Tunisian Customs.
Essebsi promptly accused prime minister Youssef Chahed of being behind the act.
For its part, Nidaa Tounes published an official announcement unanimously condemning the “abuses and irresponsible practices faced by Hafedh Caid Essebsi from the inspection team at the Tunis-Carthage International Airport.“, the TAP reported.
