The Independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) declared that an inquiry was initiated following the broadcast of certain programs by public media, in which the latter did not uphold the rule of the plurality.
HAICA explained that during a broadcast on Al Watania TV, a specialist offered some economic resolutions, as the only exit from the hard situation that Tunisians are going through at the moment.
It likewise said that it had communicated a notice of violation for recidivism to the Attessia TV following the breach of human rights and the denigration of the image of women, which took place during a show broadcasted on December 26, 2020.
