Tunisia: Hamadi Jebali heard in Baghdadi Mahmoudi case

After Foued Mebazaa, former head of government  Hamadi Jebali was heard by the investigating judge in the case of the extradition of former senior Libyan official Baghdadi Mahmoudi,  Mosaïque FM reported.

Jebali was auditioned as a consultation to come back to the bottom of this case. The former President of the Republic Fouad Mebazaa had likewise been heard by the investigating judge “for consultation”. Libya’s former head of government, Baghdadi Mahmoudi, is set to file a complaint with the International Criminal Court against Tunisia in the context of his extradition case by the administration led by the Ennahdha movement, in 2012.

The chairman of the defence committee of the former head of the Libyan government, Bashir Essid, stated that his client’s case is political and that he had been “sold” by the Troika government. Bechir Essid reported that former head of government Hammadi Jebali, former President of the Republic, Moncef Marzouki, and former Minister of Justice, Noureddine Bhiri, were responsible and the major people involved in the extradition of Mahmoudi.
