Lawyer for former prime minister Hamadi Jebali appealed on Sunday, June 26, 2022, to Tunisians to assemble at Habib Thameur hospital to support members of his family.
“Members of Hamadi Jebali’s family, his wife and his daughter have decided to begin an open sit-in in the vicinity of the hospital to uncover the fate of Hamadi Jebali (…) We call for the support of citizens (… ) The matter is urgent and mandates follow-up and mobilization at all levels,” reads a statement posted on the official Facebook page of Jebali.
