Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,frozen MP Hatem Mliki, believed that it is necessary to secure the independence and neutrality of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) after the new appointments made by the Head of State.
Mliki specified that “The President of the Republic Kais Saied is the only one to designate or dismiss the members of the body (…) We are confronting an electoral body which can be dropped at any time by Saied,” he said.
