A 50-year-old man from Housh Halima in Firnanah furiously assaulted his 15-year-old daughter causing her several broken bones after she rejected to work as a housekeeper, Mosaïque FM reported.
She was placed in the intensive care unit in Jenouba regional hospital after she managed to escape.
The victim’s older sister said that their father attacked her sister after the latter refused to move or work as Housekeep in a House, the father replied by beating her causing fractures at the level of her hands, Back and Pelvic. His torture continued by banning her to go to the hospital as she suffered four days in agony
A petition was submitted to the public prosecutor in Jendouba court first of instance who ordered the opening of an inquiry.
