Marsa police officers were alerted of the admission of an elderly woman to the emergency department of Mongi Slim Hospital, in critical condition, presenting several injuries in the thorax and the neck.
The interrogation of the victim’s son made it possible to identify his mentally and physically sick brother, who was admitted to Razi hospital in La Manouba, and who fled on August 13.
Police quickly apprehended the attacker, and the prosecution ordered his arrest, pending the rest of the investigation.
