Speaking to Mosaique FM, Hechmi Louzir, president of the National Vaccination Commission, confirmed on Friday, September 24, that more than 30% of Tunisians are fully vaccinated. He further clarified that all citizens aged 40 and over are invited to be vaccinated without summons next Sunday, even if they are not enrolled in the EVAX system.
On the other hand, Louzir emphasised that Tunisia has the required number of doses that will enable it to vaccinate a large number of citizens, during the coming period, remarking that the epidemiological situation is improving strongly.
He also called on volunteers to go to the vaccination centres for the success of the sixth day of the massive vaccination campaign, which will be organized this Sunday, September 26.
