On the occasion of the Hijra New Year, the Agency for the Enhancement of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) revealed that access to sites, monuments and museums and dependent on the Agency for the value of Heritage and Cultural Promotion will be free either Friday, July 29, 2022, if the lunar observation is possible, or Saturday, July 30, 2022.
All Tunisians and foreigners living in Tunisia profit from free entry on presentation of the national identity card or the residence permit during the following days:
- The first Sunday of each month
- April 18: International Day for Sites and Monuments
- May 18: International Museum Day Holidays
- Public holidays
