Spokesperson for the National Guard Houssem Eddine Jebali declared that the Tunisian coast guard saved 305 illegal migrants on the way to Italy from boats in distress off the coast of the country.
Jbabli has, again, said that the agents have thwarted eight attempts to cross the Mediterranean by illegal migrants from sub -Saharan Africa.
He added that the Tunisian authorities will take the required measures against illegal immigrants.
