Tunisia- How to prepare Tunisian Makloub with cutlet

To prepare 6 makloub sandwiches you need the following ingredients:

For the dough:

700 g flour

Baker’s yeast

10 g salt

1 tablespoon of sugar

500 ml lukewarm water

Mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt and sugar in a bowl

Dilute the dry yeast in a little warm water, pour into a bowl

Add lukewarm water while continuing to knead the dough

Knead the dough well, cover and let stand for about 1 hour

For the stuffing:

300 g escalope

Season the meat:

a pinch of salt
a pinch of pepper
a pinch of Provence herbs
lemon and garlic
Cover the escalope with breadcrumbs

Fry in the oil, then dice it.

Turn on the oven 200 degrees

Take a ball of dough

Flatten with a roller

Spread a layer of harissa and mozzarella cheese

Put in the oven for 7 min

Garnish with finely chopped lettuce, tomato and cucumber

Fold in half

Enjoy your meal !
