President of the National Reform parliamentary group Hsouna Nasfi dismissed that the censure motion against House Speaker Rached Ghannouchi, which is currently circulating among deputies, is a political manoeuvre to counter Ennahdha’s request to withdraw confidence from prime minister Elyes Fakhfekh.
Nasfi ensured that Ghannouchi’s overruns in his handling of the parliament and his many deviations from the rules of Parliament that prompted the deputies to launch this motion.
He added that there are even members of the Ennahdha bloc who are against the way the Assembly is run by the president of their party, Rached Ghannouchi.
