Informed sources have confirmed that former MP Rached al-Khiari was detained last night, Saturday, September 28, 2024, in execution of a judgment on appeal which condemned him to six months from prison for accusations linked to insults of others on social networks.

Khiari was then dismissed in judgment in a state of liberation, and the ruling was approved on appeal to be implemented last night, and the former deputy was placed in prison to serve the prison sentence pronounced against him.
