Interior Minister Taoufik Charfeddine paid an inspection visit to security units stationed on Avenue Habib Bourguiba in the capital on Friday, accompanied by the Director-General of National Security.
The minister further moved to the police station on Charles de Gaulle street and inspected the security units deployed at the Tunis train station.
On this occasion, he probed about the working circumstances of the security units, urging them to continue to be vigilant and cautious and to be at the service of the citizens.
From the Operations Room at the Ministry of the Interior, Taoufik Charfeddine secured the start of the visit of the President of the Republic to Bizerte, where he chaired the commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the evacuation party.
