An official delegation from the Independent High Authority for the Election consisting of Nabil Baffoun and his vice president Farouk Bouasker paid a visit to presidential nominee Nabil Karoui in his local prison in Mornaguia.
Consent for the visit was provided by the magistrate of the Financial and Economic Judiciary pole today, the meeting was further attended by the prison director and representative of The General Directorate of Prisons and Rehabilitation.
The two parties adequately discussed possible ways for Karoui to be properly on the same footing as independent nominee Kais Saïed as far as presidential campaigning.
