The Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) will officially be unveiling full preliminary results for the legislative elections today.
The ISIE issued its preliminary results after counting 100% of ballot accounts.
Voter turnout reached 41،7 %, gender voter ratio compromised between 64 % men and 36 % women. Moreover, youth ages 18-25 participation didn’t exceed 9 %.
The turnout rate among adults ages 26-45 was estimated at 33% ” 20% of voters were men and 13% were women”. Moreover, the turnout percentage for adults aged above 45 reached 57 %” 39% of voters were men and 18% were women. Voter turnout was higher among adults than the youth which played a crucial role in the results.
