Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Republican Party Secretary-General Issam Chebbi said the administration’s decision to prohibit rallies was sought at preventing opposition parties from protesting President Kais Saied.
Chebbi explained that this is a political measure and, in this sense, called on Tunisians and parties to demonstrate in mass to defend the Constitution and democracy.
