The investigating judge at the Sousse court of first instance rejected, on Thursday, the requests for the liberation of the defendants in the Italian waste case. Therefore, five defendants, including a former minister of the environment, remain under arrest, while the court has decided to acquit five other defendants for insufficient proof.
